Public Event
This year I enjoyed Lantern Festival .Before the night of Lantern Festival ,my mother brought lour nutlet ,sweet bean paste and so on to teached me how to make rice glue ball .
First ,we went along the street to buy something we need.Although the night has not pproached, but the lantern festival actually soon started, manufactures the excellent bamboo lamp ,lectric lamp were hang in the corner.
The Lantern Festival may originate in Han dynasty , when Buddhist monks would light lanterns on the 15th day of the lunar year in honour of the Buddha. The rite was later adopted by the general population and spread throughout China and other parts of Asia. A legend concerning the festival’s origin tells the tale of the Jade Emperor (You Di), who became angered at a town for killing his goose. He planned to destroy the town with fire, but he was thwarted by a fairy who advised the people to light lanterns across the town on the appointed day of destruction. The emperor, fooled by all the light, assumed the tow

We made rice glue ball softy because of too much water.But it tasted good.
we ate rice glue ball as wathing perform.I lke Lantern Festival very much.It is a traditional festival to Chinese.I felt different in it,it reminded chinese of searching f or beauty that had somehow gone adrift.

About Jiming Temple, the folk has many fables. Tang king Li Shimin makes an expedition to the east Gao Juli once stationed troops in this, because the rooster yells to rescue Li shimin in midnight. Then they had good luck ,ever after they construct Jiming Temple. Since this incident was happened, the incense and candle is very exuberant in Jiming Temple . But part of Jiming Temple was destroy in the Great Cultural Revolution period. There has the Jiming Temple ruins.
This tuesday I went to Jimin Temple with Rena.We walked along Cherry Road to find Jimin Temple.We payed for visiting it 10 yuan each person. This temple is very old.There were not many tourists in it . I miss the florescence of cherry.Interestingly, the Guanyin in Jimin temple unusual for a sitting down like a Goddess of Mercy (facing north and look).The temple has the notch Mongolia building, it is the dining room now. East of the temple has an ancient well. It is the famous rouge well led to Southern Dynasty Chen's end, the Sui soldier killed the Nanjing, King Chen and imperial concubine Zhang Lihua, Kong Guipin attaches the well to seek asylum, latter by Sui Bing was discovered that but is the captive, therefore the well has other name shame well.
I choose Jiming Temple because I like Buddhism very much.I think this experience is right on.I learned much historyfrom this experience and heared plentiful tale.I felt excited and interested. In temple, trees and the incense take me one kind of sacred solemn and respectful breath. I was far away from the city to arrive at a peaceful area.Some fable of Jiming Temple causes my impression to be profound.

Go To a Performance
I went to watch Taming of the Shrew.
It is a drama that described as the character Kate who has shrew-tempered and stubborn temper, she can not find any man who dared to marry her, she never mind the case of reluctance, she married a tall, bearded men name Piturca . Piturca wants to obedience training KATE as a good wife, so he has taken "to violence with violence" approach and finally tame the characters Kate.
The school leaders' performance is very splendid. This performance is held in December 19, 2008. Doors Open at 6:30pm but the show begins at 7:00pm. I went on 3rd floor. In the assembly hall opened the warm air, in the stage was already trading the background, put on the magnificent clothing's actor to shuttle back and forth secretly, a European woman of quality's Sharon performed officially.
"The Taming of the Shrew" Although close to farce, but the new plot development, tact, they are both on stage to perform the whole of this, or cut into version.They have always been well received.
GCA "Taming of the Shrew" is humorous, it is sharp.It has been faithful the sarsaparilla Biya original works basically. The unique sha type dialog, does not hurt the essentials the sentiment color joke and the English humorous performance interweave, cause the entire play to fill smile the spot.
